Spreading Hope Beyond Grief
A firm believer in embracing the season you are in, Laura Obier has capitalized on her reign as Mrs. Louisiana International to better serve the world around her. This multi-faceted beauty queen is an active wife, mother of four, marketing specialist, and aspiring writer. A Baton Rouge native, Laura is a true Tiger at heart honing a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications from her Alma Mater, Louisiana State University, and was a devoted Chi Omega sorority member.
Laura’s commitment to community is evident through her personal platform ‘Spreading Hope Beyond Grief’. Overcoming her sister’s death to brain cancer, she struggled finding resources to help with coping. Laura eventually started a blog entitled Living Radiant (www.LauraObier.com), where she partners with several grief organizations such as, Experience Camps and Camp Erin, and has been interviewed on The Grief Coach Podcast.
Laura and her husband enjoy traveling to new places and bringing their kids along for adventures in culture. Health and wellness is an important aspect of their own family culture. "Beauty is grounded in two things: goodness and truth,” Laura says. “We desire to embrace the beauty within us, the beauty around us, and to leave God’s goodness wherever we go.”
Please consider Laura Obier for any future engagements or collaborations.
