The Ultimate Woman Society
Destiny Henderson was crowned the 2020-2021 Ms. Black North Pacific International Ambassador in September of 2020 and is now a representative in the most prominent pageant for African American women. Residing in Portland, Oregon, Destiny has used her title to be a leader and change agent in her community. Destiny is passionate about her career and professionalism and currently works as a project manager collaborating with major corporations to construct and install store displays. She has worked with a variety of brands in the fashion, technology and athletic fields. Destiny is also an entrepreneur and proud owner of Winter Rose Event Coordinating where she specializes in wedding planning.
Destiny is an advocate for education and with her Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and her Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Communications, she is using her skills to uplift the youth and other women. Along with her sister and two friends, Destiny co-founded her platform "The Ultimate Woman Society” where she helps empower women of all ages through education. Throughout her childhood, Destiny lacked educational information such as how to build a professional network or manage her finances and college career, but through her initiative, she is helping women across the country learn the skills they need to succeed, especially in male-dominated fields. Destiny is also dedicated to combating social issues that largely impact Black women and as a board member of the non-profit organization, “The Committed Collective”, she focuses on racial disparity issues, community education, and mental health awareness.
Outside of her dedication to service and women empowerment, Destiny enjoys music, theatre, politics, makeup and fashion. She is the true epitome of a pageant queen and uses her title to aid other women in gaining the confidence and tools they need to achieve their goals!
